North Africa

BRITISH CAPTURE BENGHAZI. Italians surrender to Wavell‘s forces.
Free French under Leclerc with air support besiege Kufra Oasis, important Italian garrison town and air base in southern Libya.

North African Campaign Losses since December 9, 1940:
