The British 13-pounder anti-aircraft gun was a combination of a light field gun and a Thornycroft J-type lorry and first saw service in 1915.

Air War

Western Front: German Army airship L235 damaged by AA fire while bombing Poperinghe and wrecked in forced landing near Ypres.

Western Front

Aisne: French success near Berry-au-Bac.

Sea War

Bulgaria: Battleship Agamemnon at port of Dedeagach on diplomatic visit until next day.
Channel: Rear-Admiral Bacon replaces Hood in command of Dover Patrol.
