Air War

Balkans: German bombers and Ju 87 Stukas sink old Greek battleship Kilkis, 10 other warships and 43 merchant ships in Greek coastal waters (April 21-24).
Britain: PLYMOUTH BLITZ. Five devastating night raids, April 21-22 to April 29-30 by total of 640 bombers (17 lost). Few public buildings or houses escape damage; 750 killed, 30,000 homeless.
