Explosion of the bridge across the  Corinth Canal
Explosion of the bridge across the Corinth Canal. After the mined bridge was succesful captured by the German paratroopers, the still existing explosives were hit by an immediately following RAF air strike. 61 German paratroopers were killed in the explosion.
