Saar 'returns to the Reich'
On January 13, 1935, the Saar ‘returns to the Reich’ by referendum and Adolf Hitler greets the marches of the SA on the Rathausplatz in Saarbruecken on March 1, 1935.
World War One Diary for Wednesday, April 9, 1919:

France – Peace Process: Saar to be under League of Nations control for 15 years until plebiscite, but France to own coal mines. Council of Four sign Kaiser’s indictment for trial. 200 members of Parliament cable Lloyd George urging no recognition of Soviet Government.
Germany: Brunswick revolt (until April 17).
