Sea War

North Sea: Battleships HMS Queen Elizabeth, Valiant, Renown and aircraft carriers Illustrious and Unicorn leave Scapa Flow and the Clyde for Ceylon.

Air War

Germany: 656 RAF bombers attacking Berlin and dropping 2,315t of bombs.
