USS Tennessee
The battleship USS Tennessee was severely damaged at Pearl Harbor, but was repaired until March 1942 and went on patrols from Pearl Harbor until August. From September 1942 to May 1943, she was completely modernized, as can be seen in the picture.

Sea War

Pacific: US Navy Department Report on Pearl Harbor Raid (December 7, 1941) and salvage operations: Arizona, the only battleship totally beyond repair; Oklahoma is still half-submerged, keel up; Maryland, Pennsylvania and Tennessee and cruisers Helena, Honolulu and Raleigh repaired and returned to service; 50% of machinery of sunken destroyers Cassin and Downes salvaged; heavily damaged destroyer Shaw repaired and recommissioned. Naval and Marine Corps casualties: 2,117 killed, 960 missing (i.e., bodies still not recovered); 876 wounded. US Army casualties: 226 killed, 396 wounded.
