White troops retreat in the winter of Siberia.
World War One Diary for Friday, February 14, 1919:

France – Peace Process: League of Nations Covenant (published February 15) approved by 27 nations at 3rd Plenary Session.
Germany: Ruhr general strike (until February 19), Spartacists seize several towns.
Russia: Around this date Red Eastern Front 84,000 combat troops, 372 guns, 1471 MGs vs Kolchak’s 256 guns and 1235 MGs. Red South Front 117,000 men, 460 guns, 2040 MGs vs 38,000 Don Cossacks, 165 guns and 491 MGs. Red Western Front 81,000 men and Red Ukrainian Front 47,000 men.
Britain: Demobilization to date 1,411,936 soldiers.
