From American transport planes, build under license in Japan and painted with RAF markings, Japanese paratroopers are landing near Palembang.

Air War

Pacific: Japanese paratroops land at Palembang (Sumatra). Dutch destroy one oil refinery, but the second and airfield are captured.
Germany: RAF bombers attacking Cologne.
