Lysander Mk III Special
The versatile Lysander is also used as a Mk III Special for special operations.

Air War

Western Europe: Special equipped RAF Army Co-op. Cmnd. planes (Lysander) bomb electrical transformer stations in Loire Valley.
Germany: 181 RAF bombers attacking Wilhelmshaven and dropping 596t of bombs.

Eastern Front

Southern Sector: Russians capture Oboyan, on Kursk-Kharkov railway.
