Atzer the Easter Rising, Eamon de Valera formed in 1919 an illegal Irish parliament. He then continued to press against the British until the Irish independence.

Britain: Michael Collins helps Sinn Fein leader de Valera escape from Lincoln prison. The other Sinn Fein prisoners released March 6-10.
