After the armistice, German military planes were destroyed.
World War One Diary for Friday, January 24, 1919:

France: Peace Conference appoints Arms Control Commission for Germany; Supreme War Council fixes occupation army strengths.
Russia: Ukraine and Estonian representatives refuse ‘Prinkipo proposal’, likewise Archangel on January 27. Red Central Vommittee calls for ‘the most merciless mass terror in relation to all Cossacks involved, directly or indirectly, in the struggle with Soviet power’.
Galicia: Czechs beat Poles (­until Janury 28).
Britain: Government refuses to recognize Police and Prison Officers National Union.
