Eastern Front

Southern sector: Russians recapture Lozovaya, railway junction and supply base south of Kharkov.

Sea War

Pacific: 6 American submarines carry supplies to Corregidor Island (operations continues until May 6).

Air War

Pacific: Japanese bomb Bandjermasin airfield (southern Borneo), hitting 9 Dutch bombers. RN carrier Indomitable flies off 48 Hawker Hurricane fighters for Java’s defence.
