Burma Road
The Burma Road is used to bring supplies overland to China, whose ports are controlled by the Japanese. It is 1100 km long and runs over long distances through the jungle and over high mountains.

Politics

Britain agrees (under severe Japanese diplomatic pressure) to close the Burma Road – a vital supply route for Chiang Kai-shek‘s armies – for three months.
