Air War

50 Ju 87 Stukas attack Convoy ‘Bacon’ in English Channel. Destroyer Codrington sunk at Dover and destroyer Wren off Aldeburgh (Suffolk).

Sea War

Following loss of HMS Codrington, all British destroyers are temporarily withdrawn from Dover.
