Air War

Western Front: Oberleutnant Goering awarded Pour le Merite. Germans claim 38 Allied aircraft for loss of 17.

Western Front

USA: Pershing to ask for 250,000 men per month in June and July.
Marne: French counter-attacking between the Ourcq and Marne, recapture Faverolles on June 3.

Sea War

At Allied Supreme War Council Admiral Revel says with pride no major Italian warship has left harbour for 6 months and no losses incurred! US Navy has 150 warships in European waters.
