Winter War: Russians capture Repola (northeast of Viipuri), Karppila and Ruhela on north shore of Viipuri Bay. Marshal Mannerheim urges Finnish Government to make terms with Russia.

Politics

Ribbentrop has an interview with Mussolini and invites him to meet with Hitler.
