World War One Diary for Thursday, March 13, 1919:

Germany: Some cities restricted to 2 lb potatoes per week, only 45% of food home-grown. At Brussels Allies agree to supply Germany 370,000t food per month for her merchant marine and £7 million gold in Bank of Belgium (+ £11 million within 10 days).
Britain: Army demobilization reaches 2 million including 52,000 officers. Robertson C-in-C Rhine, Haig GOC­-in-C Home Forces (in command from April 15).
