World War One Diary for Sunday, March 23, 1919:

Italy: Mussolini founds Fascists (200 members) at hall in Piazza San Sepulchro, Milan, during year of constant strikes, inflation and Bolshevik demos.
Austria: Imperial family (25 persons) leave for Swiss exile in imperial train with 7 British military police as escort, watched by 2000 people, many weeping.
