Last-minute check before a mission by RAF Coastal Command Fortress IIA (B-17E). Some 200 served there from mid-1942.

Sea War

Atlantic: 2 U-boats sunk by RAF B-17 Fortress bomber (March 25 and 27).
Mediterranean: Repatriated survivors of British naval vessels Sikh, Oswald, Tempest, Cachalot and P.32 arrive at Alexandria.
