Sea War

Pacific: Russian cargo ships Selenga and Vladimir Mayakovski (carrying metallic ores to Vladivostok for trans-shipment to Germany) ordered to Hong Kong by British warships.

Politics

Sixth meeting of Allied Supreme War Council, in London. Solemn signed declaration that neither Britain nor France will conclude an armistice or peace treaty, except by mutual agreement. A similar agreement had been made early in World War One.
Norwegian territorial waters to be mined, thereby disrupting transport of Swedish iron ore to Germany.
