France – Peace Process: Supreme Allied Council invites Italians’ return, they do on May 5. Senior US official, probably E House, sees Kerensky who feels Reds can last ‘only a few months now’ but fears Kolchack regime will be scarcely better.
China: ­15,000 Peking students ‘May the 4th’ protest over Shantung going to Japan.
