Germany: Hitler speaks to members of Reichstag in Kroll Opera House, Berlin: he claims that by withdrawing troops from North Africa to Greece, Churchill has made the ‘biggest strategic mistake in history’. German casualties in Balkans campaign were only 1,151 killed and 3,892 wounded. He predicts that National Socialist Germany will survive for 1,000 years.
