A section of British soldiers of Slim’s 14th Army in Burma are briefed by their company commander. A wide variety of weapons can be seen, including the Sten Gun, the Bren light machine gun and the Enfield rifle. The dishevelled appearance of the troops reflects the harshness of the Burmese terrain.
