Italian submarine Tricheco
Italian submarine Tricheco, launched on September 11, 1930 at Monfalcone. She sunk by mistake her sister ship Gemma. She was later sunk also by a submarine – the British HMS Upholder – on March 18, 1942 at 6:30 p.m. near Brindisi, Italy.

Mediterranean: Italian submarine Gemma accidentally sunk by sister craft Tricheco.

Air War

Brief lull in night Blitz on London due to bad weather: few HE bombs dropped near the capital.
