King George visits RAF Squadrons at Lille-Seclin airfield today. Six Hurricanes and some Gladiators and Blenheim IVs are visible.

Mines laid, by night, off British East Coast, by German seaplanes and destroyers (which also damage destroyer HMS Jersey by a torpedo).

Finland

Winter War: Russians complete series of landings on seven islands in Gulf of Finland.
