War Diary of World War One for Friday, November 13, 1914:

Eastern Front

East Prussia: Russians threaten fortress Thorn, are checked on November 14 but levy taxes on November 15.
Galicia: Russians occupy Dunayetz and threaten Cracow.

Western Front

Ypres: German pressure begins to slacken.
Aisne: ­French re-enter Tracy-le-Val, south of river Oise, and repulse a counterattack on November 19.

African Fronts

Cameroons: French cruiser Bruix covers Royal Marines seizure of Victoria, Buea‘s port and German administration center. British occupy 3 places on Northern Railway.
Morocco: – Worst French defeat: 3,000 Zaians massacre 733 French, take 8 guns and 10 MGs outside Fort Khenifra which is blockaded for duration.
